How much overhead
does SQLBenchmarkPro create?
SQLBenchmarkPro uses
light-weight trace APIs to limit overhead on servers being
traced. Used appropriately, SQLBenchmarkPro adds very minimal
processing overhead (usually less than ~1%)

Zero installation
requirement
No components of SQLBenchmarkPro need to
be installed directly onto servers being monitored. Whilst
SQLBenchmarkPro has been designed to operate efficiently
whilst installed directly on production systems, it can also
be installed on other dedicated monitoring servers to further
minimise processing overhead.

What storage space
does SQLBenchmarkPro require?
SQLBenchmarkPro stores
monitoring data within a normal SQL Server (tm) database in a
normalised state, minimising storage requirements. If
required, source trace files can also be archived but the
amount of space required for these files is largely determined
by the number of queries being performed in your databases.
